The hotel itself is nice: has all the bells and whistles one might expect from a Hyatt Regency and uses them appropriately.
- Restaurant is well appointed and service is outstanding
- Rooms are spacious, modern and clean
- Conference facilities are well configured and functional
The only real issue with this hotel is its location, and the staff's relative unhelpfulness in navigating it. Being located in the Tech Center means being locked away miles from anything interesting. Everything nearby closes at 9... I needed an over-the-counter medicine at 9:45 and the concierge was utterly unhelpful in locating anywhere nearby to obtain it. In the end, Siri was more helpful, and I had to rush to a gas station in a nearby featureless office park before it closed at 10pm. The location feels like you are secreted away in a dystopian future world where a mysterious virus has wiped out a post-industrial human race, leaving only empty, meaningless buildings staring out into a dark and dispiriting void.More
