Avoid this place at your peril. Where the good reviews come from I do not know. Awful service, bang average food and so expensive, I won’t be coming back here ever again.

Came into joint with friends as we heard good things about establishment. Were then greeted(when I say “greeted”, he just grunted and pointed to a board of food) by the owner. We paid our money and sat down eagerly awaiting some yummy food.

When the food arrived, all I could think of was “Wow” (and not in a good way). Three of the driest dogs I have ever seen in my life. Hot dogs with no sauces and toppings sitting there in an oversized roll. I thought to myself. Is this what we have paid $50 bucks for.

If I worked there I would have been embarrassed to serve that food and especially for the money they were charging. I’m surprised they weren’t wearing masks and carrying swag bags cos it certainly felt like daylight robbery.

All I can say is I won’t be coming back here unless something drastically changes to this establishment. If you are hungry I am hoping that there are much better places where you can spend your hard earned cash cos this ain’t one of them.

These people force their employees to collect tips on credit cards at events and don't give their employees the tips. This is illegal and exploitative. They do not even deserve a star for taking advantage of workers who actually need their tips.

Roadtrips mostly require driving to get somewhere, but sometimes they also involve driving to get somewhere specific you wanna eat. And so it is with “Biker Jim’s” in Denver, Colorado. Always in search of a good hotdog, I was truly intrigued by the offerings at my new friend Jim’s.

Initially drawn by his “Ostrich” dog (which was outstanding and worth the drive), I was surprised that you can also order veal, buffalo, rattlesnake & rabbit, or wild boar (in addition to Vegan and more traditional offerings).

An easy walk from Coors Field, Jim’s would make a great pre or post game destination.

If you’re wondering what music selection best accompanies an ostrich hotdog, I found Jim’s selection of “Blood Clots and Black Holes” by Thrice to be a logical selection.

Personally I think “Eat Mor Bef! 🐄” needs to be incorporated into Jim’s marketing campaign, but I’ll leave that to him to decide.

And that’s…Henry’s Take.

As always, the dogs are always excellent! And the toppings superb! And this time,(as always, just more so this time) the service was outstanding. The gentleman behind the counter came and checked on us to make sure everything was OK. Wished our dog a Happy birthday! Made us feel very welcome.

So the YouTube and social media hype is overrated. Not bad, just not worth the hype. Especially for the price you pay. Cool novelty place though.
