We stayed at Hotel Teatro for two nights. The hotel lobby was nice and had the same quality and feel of most boutique hotels. The front desk staff was edgy and kind. There was nothing above and beyond extraordinary for the boutique hotel genre. Would I come back and stay again? Yes....

One minor critique, my husband ordered a salad and paid cash. He ordered it in person as room service because there were no menus in the room. They still added a significant Charge to bring it up one flight of stairs to our room almost directly above the kitchen—after making him wait 15+ minutes while they “called a manager to figure out how to enter the order.” We then waited over 1.5 hours and had to leave for an appointment. We were courteously refunded our money, and were told we could come back for breakfast on the house if we asked for the manager..So, we did and we were told the manager on duty last night was not in - tough luck — He returns “at 10 or maybe 11 or..”That was the only dining experience we had with this hotel!

Hope this review helps :)

Hi Belinda! We are so grateful for your feedback and look forward to providing you a better in room dining experience - it sounds like there was a lack of communication on our end with breakfast the next day. Please know that our management team reviews all feedback with the goal of improving the guest experience at both Hotel Teatro and The Nickel, and we hope you'll give us another go.

My wife and I spent 4 days at the Hotel Teatro, a revamped historic building in downtown Denver. Very convenient to the conference I attended, and walked to an Avalanche game at the Pepsi Center. Staff was wonderful, very attentive. Rooms are a tad small, but tasteful and functioned well. The exercise room is small, but serviceable. Food was excellent all around. At $205 per night, it felt like a good value compared to similar facilities.

Room tip: Ask for a room away from 14th Street.

The room was tiny and dated. Not worth the price. The lobby has lots of unique things in it but is kind of cluttered and seems out of place. I wouldn't book a hotel based on it's lobby anyway and the room was not worth the price.

Hi Jennifer! We're sorry your room was smaller than anticipated - we have a variety of room types and can often accommodate room moves but your note of a high rate indicates to me that we may have been sold out. We apologize, but look forward to welcoming you back in the future - our reservations and front desk teams can both be of help when selecting the best room type for your needs!

The hotel: This is a gorgeous, architecturally significant hotel in a great area of Denver, close to LODO and other great spots. The staff is incredibly helpful, the rooms are bright and beautiful, and I cannot wait to stay here again. I've stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Denver, and this hotel blows the Ritz out of the water. We stayed in a corner king on the top floor. It was spacious, comfy, well furnished and the bathroom is huge. LOVE this hotel, HIGHLY recommend it.

Room tip: Upgrade to a bigger room if you can.

Great services, nice room. Very cool hotel. Went down for Octoberfest and the walk was nothing. Ended up at the Rockies game and was a quick walk home from there. Will be back next romantic getaway. Tx
