It ended up being a nice property but a couple things made it interesting. We got there and had two twin beds instead of the bedding we thought we would have. Also, the hot tub in our area but it didn't open until noon and closed at 9pm (very weird hours). We called the front desk( which was in another condo building, Plaza Condominiums) to see if we could have them open it earlier. They could only open it an hour early and we had plans, but they also mentioned we couldn't come us their hot tub because the HOA's didnt get along so we couldn't use their hot tub. But we checked-in and did everything through the other building. We also had no idea it was ski-in/ski-out. Over all we had a great trip, but it would have been nice to know the little details.

Jessica S,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay on Trip Advisor.

We're glad to hear that overall your trip was great.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the bed configuration, the hours of the hot tub and the comments from the Front Desk. It sounds like you were staying in one of our outlying condos, possibly the Buttes building. We do list and rent each of our condos individually, which should have allowed you to view pictures of the unit prior to finalizing your booking. The anonymity of TripAdvisor does not allow me to be certain of exactly which unit or building your stayed in to address this. However, if you are interested in contacting me with these details, I would be happy to address why the bed configuration was different from what you expected.

Each building does have a separate HOA, and HOA's rules stipulate that only guests staying within each property are able to use the hot tubs in those facilities. This was the reason why we were unable to allow you to use the Plaza hot tub. I sincerely apologize that the front desk team did not accurately explain this.

We do hope that you will return and stay with us again.

Best regards,

Heather Leonard

We were delighted with our condo! We stayed in #340, a 3BR/3BA unit with views of the base/lifts which are easily accessible (just across a small parking lot and up a few stairs); proximity to resort retail and dining is great. We had plenty of living space for nightly gatherings of up to 13 people. The patio was stacked with firewood, and Housekeeping provided fire-starter squares/matches. The kitchen was very well equipped. Two ski lockers came with our unit, so we were able to skip the check-in&out lines at the valet or the rental stores. We had six people staying together, but never lacked hot water for showers, laundry, or dishes. We had an issue with the dishwasher, but Maintenance fixed it right away. The ice-maker stopped working during our visit, but Housekeeping provided ice when we requested it. The only thing the staff could not fix was the free-but-unreliable WiFi (Spectrum) which interrupted some evening activities like photo sharing, SmartTV watching, and internet gaming. However, we brought our own board games and waited through the streaming delays to keep watching college bowl games, so the WiFi didn't ruin our fun. I highly recommend the Plaza, and will choose it again if we return to Crested Butte!

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Plaza.
We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit!
We're working to address the wifi, which can be spotty when we are at high occupancy.
We hope you return to stay with us again sometime soon!

Our family, including two young granddaughters, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in condo #333, a three bedroom corner unit with a beautiful view from the balcony.

The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. We didn't cook but the kitchen would have been more than adequate for meals.

The staff was very helpful at check-in and throughout our stay. The shuttle into town was convenient to catch across the street, although it didn't seem to follow the posted schedule. Mountain activities and restaurants were a short walk up the hill.

Our only complaint is we didn't get to stay a few more days. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and friends stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo (3 adults and 3 kids) for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and had a good view of the beautiful scenery. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and the staff was very friendly. It's in a perfect location for mountain biking on the mountain and just a short drive into Crested Butte. Perfect for hiking and enjoying the beautiful wildflowers.
