Nice ambiance. Great waitress (Stefany). Nice peaceful place for dinner. Waitress was very helpful with the menu and suggestions. Never rushed us.

We had a very large party and everyone raved about the food. The service was excellent, too. The food was well prepared and the servers made sure you had plenty of rice and whatever else you needed.
Wanted to write a bit of rebuttal to some others' critiques. We lived in Asia for many years. Shangri-La has "American-friendly" great food. (Much authentic Chinese is not to most American tastes.)
The service varies, sometimes great and sometimes "OK" depending on who's working that day. There was a Trip Advisor critique that complained that the greeter had said "you wait." Here's a hint: she probably was foreign-born and didn't speak English well. So, give her a break.
My family and I enjoyed a very good dinner meal at Shangri-la. the food was expertly prepared and served hot. The drinks were flavorful. The waitress was very nice and well versed in the best options on the menu. She made the meal extra special. Hard to find location, but very well worth the drive. prices were good for a family of four.
Brett (I believe the name is correct) was wonderful!! We had a lot of questions and he was patient, friendly, and very helpful. My two daughters and I stopped for lunch. A new experience was the ability to request the type of meat for the General Tao’s Chicken. One daughter chose dark meat, while the other chose white. Both dishes were tender, juicy, and very tasty. I chose Mongolian beef and it too was delicious. They used both scallions and regular onions with a dark gravy type broth. I took my leftover’s home and had they warmed up well for lunch the next day as well!
