Maybe my third or fourth time here. This time on arrival the gentleman (who appeared to be the manager) gathered up utensils for our table then dropped one on the floor. No big deal - well yes it was, he picked it up and went right ahead and set our table with it!

Following that distasteful introduction, we asked for crispy tofu only to be served the most spongy tofu I've ever seen. Food preparation seems to have gone down-hill. Veggie's in dishes are all chopped up in nice little chunks like those you'd find in a can of vegetable soup. Sauces seem the same across several different dishes.

Probably won't be back.

Expected my food to be spicy....it wasn't. The fried rice was way to sweet. My chicken was all fatty and not good at all. Won't go back, and I'm STILL craving Chinese :(

When take out Chinese is just not good enough, try this place. Sit down, high quality, large serving sizes, and packed with flavor. Absolutely wonderful dinning experience.

Mushu-pork - very good but they forgot to give me hoisin sauce.
Egg rolls - just ok, a little tube of fried something.
Cashew nut chicken - the typical corn starch thickened sauce, pretty minimal on the veggies, chicken good
Eggplant with garlic sauce - tasty, not so goopy of a sauce. Would ey again.
Forgot the brown rice, got white.
All up we were happy to have a quick meal at home on a busy night. Would get again.

Convenient location to my home, so stopped in for carry out for dinner. Restaurant decor is nice and service was pleasant. Provided tea while we waited for our order. Got home and we were disappointed in the food taste and quality. The sweet and sour pork was dried out, the chicken wings were dry, and the pork fried rice was flavorless and, yes, dry. Shangrila needs to get a new cook and perhaps earn a higher rating than average.
