It was convenient to have ski rentals, ski school, and any apparel needed for purchase available where we stayed - Beaver Run Resort.

My favcorite ski resort. Lots of nightlife, great food, aspre skiing, love sitting outside the restaurants on top of the mountain. Views are awesome!

We picked Breckenridge because it's on the way up to the mountains, the gondola there is free you just pay for the activities once you get to the top. You must wear layers if you are going to the top the weather changes and sometimes you want to be in a t-shirt and then in an hour you'll need a sweatshirt!

Great mini golf, a little pricey, alpine slides were a lot of fun, follow directions of the guides not to lean into the turn, while we were there someone fell out of his sled on the track and got injured.

There was a coaster and other fun activities, you can buy each activity a la carte or in a group depending on how much you want to spend and how much time you have.

The gondola ride itself takes time, it makes 2 stops before you get to the top!

There is a store and bar on the top if you need to purchase gear or drinks/food.

It's beautiful!

I had not skied here in many years yet have been here in summer for 3 years to spectate in the annual pro cycle race. Decided to take the gondola up part way on the mountain. Gondola is free in summer. Exiting the gondola, you arrive at a main or major base lodge. Lots of family activities: mazes, flume rides, bungee cords, zip lines, mountain biking, etc. For me (old guy), a little to Disneyesque. The chair lift to get you further up on the mountain was $20 ea! Every activity had a fairly steep price. Possibly you can buy a pass to participate in them all. Did not hang around that long. Just too congested. Mountain is massive with huge trail system. Looks like great skiing if you can adjust to a 9,000' base elevation.

We took the Colorado lift to the top. Hiked the horseshoe loop. Enjoyed the wonderful views. Came back the next day rented mountain bikes..1st timers.... did the green trails. Was very afraid to graduate to the Colorado chair. Finally we did and much to our surprise the blues were not difficult at all!!!
