Vast selection of foods; complementary glass of fizz; nice service; beautiful atmosphere and location. We've been here for dinner a few times, but the brunch was a fun way to start a Sunday. They also have private rooms for a private party - a great choice.

We went to the Greenbriar Inn Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere here is really something special, both with the indoor and the outdoor seating. Many hotels and restaurants serve a Sunday brunch. The one out here is really something special. The appetizer table included fresh cold seafood such as raw oysters, shrimp, and pickled herring, as well as a selection of cheeses. The main entrée section included all of the breakfast standards, from Belgian waffles and blintzes to eggs Benedict and an omelet station. The desert table includes Crème Brulee, assorted cheesecakes, and pastries. All this combined with very good service. All in all, and memorable brunch!

We were in Boulder for a weekend. When we lived in Boulder years ago, we were to go to the Greenbriar for a birthday dinner, but got snowed out and never made it back ,so really was anticipating the visit.
We told them when we made the reservation that it was a special anniversary, which they acknowledged when we arrived. We had to wait for the manager to approve where the hostess wanted to seat us...at a "sweetheart table". This was a table in a corner booth which was nice. The problem was that we were in the main dining room, while everyone else was seated outside in a covered patio area. We were the only ones in this huge dining room for over an hour, until another couple was seated in a sweetheart booth across the dining room.
The whole evening was fairly awkward, our waiter was rushing around as he had tables outside, and seemed to forget about us, and the service was spotty. The other staff seemed to forget that we were there, as they were yelling back and forth across the room. The manager was pacing the room the whole time.
The food was good, much effort was in the presentation. There is a farm to table bent, so it was fresh. The portions were good for the most part. The strawberry shortcake with macerated strawberries was short on the cake with what seemed to be strawberries from the freezer as they were frosty.
The setting is pretty,a bit dated, as they are celebrating their 50th. Gravel parking lot, not real great on the dress shoes.

I realize this isn't the typical review. Had a function held here where we had the sunroom and lower dining area. Over 100 guests. Everyone really liked the meals, but especially I got a lot of comments on the hors d'oeuvres being very tasty. A little hiccup with the time span between appetizers and the main dishes, but my party was also late in attending, so I'm sure that contributed to the delay. The staff worked great with our DJ/entertainment. Special thank you to Kathy Jo and Valerie and her wait staff. I wouldn't hesitate holding another function here.
We also dine here somewhat regularly.

Food presentation was lovely. They did have huge shrimp and oysters! The champagne was free flowing! The bit of disappointment was this...... We arrived at about 12:30 which seems like a good time for brunch. We started with the appetizers... we were told better get your shrimp now this is the last as she put 6 more out there. We were there for a leisurely, relaxed time yet they came around and asked if we would be wanting anything else from the main dish station at about 1:00 so they could start cleaning up.
