This was our third visit to Mediteraneo and the first time we had a complete dinner. The first two visits were at happy hour at the bar and high tops. Loved the appetizers and the experience was fun and affordable. Tonight we had 2 complete meals with wine and desert. We usually share dinners due to large portions, but tried very different menu items to compare notes. The food was good, not excellent. The service was excellent! The value was good, pricey for the food quality. Overall, a very good place to enjoy food and wine.

The food was excellent. I tasted all the dishes at our table and there were no bad or mediocre dishes, all of them were fabulous. The service was perfect, and the ambience was beautiful. Although it is pricey you get what you pay for!

Had a fantastic dinner made up of practically every appetizer on the menu. Sat at the bar, and the bartender Roberto was excellent dispute the crush of people and orders. He is a great bartender with lots of personality and professionalism. Everything was delicious. Make sure to leave room for the warm toffee butter cake, it is out of this world.

Really had a very nice experience here, with superb service. Food was excellent, but maybe 25% more expensive than at a good restaurant in Ventura. The restaurant is well-managed and the setting is nice for a romantic dinner.

I’ve been to Medeterraneo a few times and it was wonderful. Overall ambiance is beautiful and the food is good too. We set up my daughters high school graduation dinner tonight and am sadly dissspointed. We had a party of 11 and they sat us down a huge booth which made it impossible to converse so we put 4 chairs in opposite side which helped, but the server had to constantly reach over us..we should have asked to be seated at another table. Ordered 3 appetizers. The mussels were actually rotten. Waited for meals...all were great except for my sisters. The steak was filet minon but seemed more like sirloin. Evetyone had finished their meal by the time new dish came out. This caliber of restaurant usually comps the meal in these instances... not this restaurant! The manager brought my daughter a few scoops of ice cream and a sparkler and wanted that to “compensate” for the bad food. I politely disputed the “compensation” with the server at the end of the meal when we received the $450 dollar meal...and he raised his voice at me in front of our party which pretty much ruined our experience. They did end up discounting bill but the damage was done. We Will not go back to the Mediterraneano in Westlake Village.
