“Pancakes the size of a toilet lid!”

Visited for brunch en famille. I had a feta, onion and tomato omelette which was tasty, along with the home fries which I didn't care for. Hubby had the yoghurt & granola with 3 types of berries, plus raisins, it was a good sized serving compared to other local restaurants and cheaper too. Daughter plumped for choc chip pancakes....they were the size of a toilet lid and stacked....it also came with bacon, 2 fried eggs and hash browns which had to be served on a separate dinner plate. Wow! Her face was a picture when it arrived :) Coffee is filter only, no lattes, expresso or Americano, which was a bit of a let down. The café is very small, fronting onto the carpark in a strip mall. We waited for an outdoor table as the interior of the café was too hot to sit in. Tables could have been cleaner, but once we were seated the service was good.
The meal was really cheap, which is unusual in the WLV area. They have some great coupons which you can use during the week for brunch too. We will be back.

An eclectic (& humorous) menu keeps things interesting - crazy dishes like Hannibal & Fat [--] have me take several minutes to pick out what I'm ordering every time I make a trip here.

With that said on to my specific review for a Sunday Brunch:

Food was fantastic - I got the 'Three Bs' - waffles with bacon, basil, & brie. Didn't know what to expect but the brie worked amazingly well with the waffles & alot of care was taken with the presentation.

Value - Food is generally in the $10 / plate range and considering the portions the value is very good. That said since the portions are large come hungry or be prepared to take something home.

Atmosphere - Restaurant is relatively small (think cafe - not a lot of seating) & relaxed. On Sundays there is a farmer's market so grabbing a table outside allows for some people watching.

Service - Excellent. Staff is consistently friendly & their care for the food/clients shines through. They frequently stop by to chat & ask if you need anything.

Was taken there after the wonderful Sunday farmers' market in WLV. The pancakes are fantastic, as is simple yoghurt and fruit and their oatmeal. The staff are lovely. Then we took 2 different sets of visitor there who loved it too.

I ordered the porky pancakes with sausages and bacon in the batter. It was just too much - 2 12" pancakes for $9.75. I think they should reduce the portion and charge less. Leftover pancakes don't taste good. I could only finish 1/4.
