23 years in the restaurant business is an accomplishment in itself, but 23 years in the ever changing, constantly critiquing city of Los Angeles, well that’s just a miracle. With its chandeliers and fireplaces La Cafe Boheme tips its hat to tradition, but with its Asian influenced menu it stays current.
"With the kitchen being run by a classically French trained chef, who come from an Asian American family, the menu offers everything from filet mignon tacos to tuna tataki, the menu offers something for everyone."
That makes it sound so boring. Actually, the place is everything, but not boring. If you take some one on a date - this is the place.
Would I go back: definitely. Would I make a detour: yes. Consequently: five stars.
