Reservation was easy to make even for a lunch party on 9 on Saturday. Waitress came over right away and asked if we wanted to order appetizers while waiting for the rest of our party. Sisig was good and wait time was short. When the rest of our party arrived, our order was taken quickly, even though she forgot our pansit. We did ask and it came out quickly. Crispy pata was great! I've had it at Max's chicken and Gerry's Grill blows that away. We ordered grilled items which I found to be tasty, bulalo was OK (like one made at home better and the sisig reminded me of the PI. We had to ask for rice a couple of times before it was brought out which I found to be rather annoying because that should of been one of the first things served!
It was a b-day celebration and we had our own cake. We asked for cake plates and a knife which we got, but nothing else. Would of been kind of nice if the staff came over to sing Happy Birthday. Food servers did not make much conversation with us, just dropped off the plates. No one ever asked if we needed any more water, food etc.
Other than that I did enjoy Gerry's Grill and will definitely return to try more of the dishes.
