We booked this hotel since we needed an inexpensive place to stay that was close to attractions. What caught our eye was the free continental breakfast listed on the website, since we thought it would save time and money in the morning. Only to our surprise after checking in, we asked the receptionist at the desk what time the continental breakfast is (that was clearly advertised on their website and still is up on the website) and she replied, "oh, we don't have that anymore," and then told the other guy next to her behind the desk "yeah we need to fix that." No apology, no explanation, just matter of fact. If that was not enough, after going up to our room to relax for a bit after a long drive, we flushed the toilet only to find it would not go down and was about to overflow after flushing. We immediately called the front desk where all they could do was run a plunger up to our room and not handle the situation themselves. The whole night we had to use a plunger each time we wanted to flush the toilet. Their clearly was a problem with the plumbing and they were not taking care of it. Totally unacceptable and disgusted by this whole experience.

Also air conditioner is extremely noisy at night- not a big deal, but just be aware.

Room Tip: If you need a blow dryer, mini fridge or coffee pot in room there are none in queen rooms.

Urine on the toilet seat, no toilet paper provided, cigarette butts stuffed down the sink drain, mouldy coffee maker and rubbish under the bed. The bathroom STUNK of cigarettes due to aforementioned cigarette butt. It would have been an easy reach for the maid too. I know it's not a flash hotel, but it was just a bit TOO ridiculous.

We booked this hotel because of its location in Thousand Palms. Unfortunately we booked a queen room, not realizing that it didn't have a clock, fridge, micro, hair dryer, or coffeepot. We tried to move to a king room since it was better equipped but because we had booked online the management wouldn't allow this even tho we were of course willing to pay the extra and there were plenty of rooms available. We've never come across such a policy before. The beds were soft, bathtub and its surround and shower head were in need of replacement, and AC was noisy. Breakfast was minimal but adequate for the cost. The best I can say is that the cleaning staff did a good job & was accommodating to our schedule. The price here is cheaper than elsewhere in the Valley but still a poor deal.

This place did the trick. It was clean, but no frills. They did NOT have a blow dryer. I've never been in a place like that. The room did have laminate floors which was nice. It is also freeway close. If you're looking for luxury, this is not it.

I stayed here because I needed a place to sleep that was inexpensive and was close to the highway. I was driving from LAX to Phoenix. This met my needs. If I would have planned to stay in the area for more than just a night I would have stayed elsewhere. The bathroom could have been cleaner and the counter over the dressing area looked like a drink had spilled there and left, somewhat sticky.
