What an amazing experience to be had! To feel like your back in time but with the comforts we are accustom too. The Hotel Temecula is clean and well cared for with great rooms and bathrooms. You would never even know there is shared bathrooms. The old town of temecula is quant and a great time to be had but please if you get the chance go taste at Curry Vineyards tasting room in old town. The food at Goat and Vine is amazing as well. !

From the time of our arrival and throughout our entire stay, Richard and Chris were the consummate hosts. We received very personal attention and their generous hospitality was amazing.

We were made so comfortable, we felt as if we knew them for years. We had free access to help ourselves to anything we wanted, including sitting around the evening wood burning fire pit and sharing wine and s'mores.

The historic hotel and rooms were all restored to their authentic décor with 5 star amenities including the linens, luxury beds, robes and toiletries on par with any luxury resort.

Their knowledge of the histories of the hotel added to this unforgettable experience.

We highly recommend staying here to truly experience all of that Old Town Temecula has to offer (and leave the car parked for the weekend at the hotel.)

We have stayed here a few times. The location puts you right in the middle of Old Town with restaurants, wine tasting, and the many brew pubs. The rooms are well equipped and have air conditioning. The owners are hands on and very accommodating. It's fun to sit outside at night by the fire pit and enjoy the great weather in Temecula. Great place to stay!

We hosted a dinner with 6 couples on the back patio of The Hotel Temecula under the cafe lights, climbing vines, and stars. Lawn games, cocktails, music, and laughter all night as we ended around the fire pit in comfortable chairs and blankets before retiring to our rooms. Our group's highlight included a tour of the incredibly well preserved history of Temecula including phone switch boards, wedding dresses, pictures, and original furniture. Each room was uniquely rich in history but with the modern comforts of high quality mattresses and bedding. The location, hospitality, history, and comforts were perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic get away or a group celebration. You won't experience anything like it anywhere else.

My wife and I stayed at The Hotel Temecula recently on a Friday night to be able to enjoy all that old town Temecula has to offer up close and personal. This hotel has been immaculately restored with a great deal of attention to detail and they knock guest comfort and enjoyment out of the park. We enjoy history and often stay at historic destinations and it is very common to find that historic also means "rustic" which is OK. But The Hotel Temecula is somehow able to capture all of the area's and the actual building's rich history with authentic (not reproduction) furniture and trappings while making you feel pampered and comfortable without a need unmet. Each room is unique and filled with local historical artifacts and pictures. The grounds are massive and the buildings and open areas invite you to sit down and enjoy some old world charm. The owners are magnificent hosts with fantastic knowledge of Temecula's history and current local knowledge if you need to know where to go for a great time in old town in which the hotel is centrally located. A stay here is truly a stay in a living museum of the highest quality and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. We will be visiting again and hope to have gatherings there when people visit from out of town. Five stars!

Room tip: Quieter on the south side but all nice.
