“first time B&B stay pleasantly surprised”
Reviewed 13 February 2012

my wife and I enjoyed our stay at The INN at Europa Village. The INN is located on the top off a hill surrounded by vineyards in the center of Temecula wine country. The property is reminiscent of a large hacienda with trees, flora, birds, owls and a beautiful view of the Temecula valley. The property has been completely renovated but still has the charm of a bygone era. In certain ways the property is reminiscent of Hearst castle with its hilltop location and understated charm.

For choice room locations I suggest making reservations in advance. Most of the rooms offer balconies and some offer fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs.

The INN keepers Chef Dean and his wife Nicole were excellent hosts. They were there to answer any questions or to visit with otherwise they left you to yourself. The chef inspired breakfast that is part of your stay there is phenomenal.

I recommend the INN for those hoping to get away to a slower more relaxed local. By choice there are no tv's in the room although there is a communal tv in the comfortable lodge area of the property. Generally the tv is set to pleasant music and guests enjoy the fireplace a glass of wine and maybe a good book.

rooms are turned down each day of your trip.

Room Tip: view room with balcony if available.

The warm hues of a setting sun glanced off the vineyards and citrus groves to frame a stunning entrance to the Inn at Europa Village in Temecula, CA. We were welcomed by our amiable innkeepers, Dean and NicoleThomas to charming accommodations in a spectacular hillside setting. We were a group of 8 on a couples retreat with a mission to enjoy the regional hiking, sample local wineries and laugh a lot! Dean and Nicole pointed us in the right direction at every turn, whether recommending hiking trails, making dinner reservations, or creating the right ambiance for our merriment. Dean and Nicole clearly have a passion for setting the finest atmosphere for their guests, whether attending to details such as the temperature of the hot tub for stargazing off the deck or making larger scale improvements to the property. But they reserve their ultimate reveal of "joie de vie" for their gourmet breakfast service. They customize the menu to dietary constraints or preferences-such as "I like chocolate for breakfast." And "viola" a dab of Nutella is tastefully added to a fruit medley of blackberries,on the property grown tangerines, property pomegranates, and local passion fruit marmalade.--A few days at the Inn at Europa Village offers a feast for the senses and memories for a lifetime.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hillsides

Spent two nights in the beautiful setting with scenery that was delightful. Chef Dean's breakfast each day was a work of art. Room private and romantic. Renovations are now going on and inn will be renovated.
Nicole is a charming inn keeper and we would recommend The Inn with enthusiasm.

Our stay was so Romantic. We sat out side for the sunset with some wine and cheese. Chef Dean lit the fire pit as the evening air chilled. Dean and Nicole did everything possible to enrich our stay.
Breakfast in the morning left the finest memory of a quality meal. Chef Dean is truly an accomplished chef.
I would return at first opportunity! A room remodel is planned to upgrade some furniture and that will top off the Inn perfectly!
