Dining style: Casual Dining
Cross street: US Route 101 at South Airport Blvd
Transit: Service ran by BART to South San Francisco BART Station or to SFO BART Station and take hotel shuttle.
Description: Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.

Located within upper scale Holiday Inn this restaurant is full service with great menu, large bar suitable for watching sports. For dinner the Grilled Salmon with Aspargus, Fried Tilapia and Slow cooked Pot Roast were a favorite at our table. Wine menu is limited to some basic California "grocery store" table wines, fortunately one good Argentine red wine is available. Bar is well stocked for Single-malt Scotch, Bourbon, Tequila and Vodka. Deserts are fabulous.

Not special, but nice to have lunch or dinner. Kind of sports bar. Too dark on my opinion, but some people may like in this way. It's a good option if you're staying in the hotels nearby

I like this kind of american food. I have seen on another reviews that there is a bad service. Maybe when it crowded the service is bad. I was Saturday evening, place was not so full and service was excellent. I got starters (Potato soup - recommended) very fast and got entree 5 minutes after finishing starters - was very tasty too.
Dessert was so-so - I believe this is not a right place to eat dessert.

This place is attached to the Holiday Inn hotel near the airport (NOT Holiday Inn Express, just to be clear.) Food is mediocre, service was slow, very dark inside, looks like a strip club from the outside due to lack of windows. Very "meh."

In town for a night before flying back to Ohio my wife and I gave this place a try. Its a trendy spot. Younger crowd mostly but still plenty of older folks to. I had the magaretta flatbread and my wife tried the chesseburger sliders. We also had a bottle of wine. It can be a bit noisy here but its a bar and so that might be expected. The food was really good and so was the wine.
