It turns out that my wife and I stayed here twice in one week, as we had company events nearby. And it turns out that we got the same room (Room 246) both times!
Several reviewers have already mentioned the potential for noise from the adjacent train tracks. Most of the trains are commuter trains, that would only be a bother during commute times. There is the occasional freight train--I heard one around 10pm one night. Our room was the next to the last along the building, so almost the closest to the tracks, although facing at right angles. I didn't have any issue with noise. If you're really sensitive, pay the extra for a courtyard view, and ask to be situated on the other side of the property from the tracks.
Otherwise, the room was fine. It was fully stocked with all the amenities expected. The breakfast is minimal, and one day the scrambled eggs were salty to the point of inedible-ness. Still, the hotel staff was friendly and this hotel is much cheaper than many others nearby.More
