Was starving when I landed and figured how could I go wrong with a burrito in Cali. The place was dirty and I'll-kept. Burrito was worsted memory. Just as I started to eat I noticed a sushi and noodle shop next door - Should have gone there

Andale used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Bay Area. Their burritos and especially the roasted tomato salsa was amazing. They were in all terminals at sfo and it was the highlight of any trip for me.

Now... all closed except terminal2. But I went there two days ago looking for the great food and experience and it’s gone. The great salsa wasn’t even there! Evidently to save money they now restrict access to the salsa, and rotate days so on this day the good salsa wasn’t even available! THe burrito was ok, but I realized that without the salsa bar it’s only average.

Seems like Andale has hit on hard times and although it costs $12-13 for a burrito, they can’t make money and are therefore cutting back on all the Things that used to make them great. It’s sad, but after more than 10 years eating there I’m done with Andale.

On a recent early morning departure from SFO, I stopped in at Andale for a quick breakfast. This isn't Texas where you can get a big tasty breakfast taco for under $2, its California where breakfast Tacos cost $11 and up. Granted they’re big for their size but $11 is still too much to pay for a grab and go breakfast. Plus, breakfast tacos are not gourmet food and should be made with pinto beans, not black beans. Still, food wasn’t horrible and service was fair. Airport food is hideously and unjustifiably expensive and Andale is no exception. How can they improve? Look, leave the gourmet for the Napa Valley, just sell tasty Bacon, Egg and Cheese breakfast tacos for a couple of bucks each and you’ll triple your sales

Very busy place.
Ahead a egg, Chorizo, and potato breakfast burrito - very fresh and very good.
The fresh OJ was great also.
The lady cooking was very nice and friendly.
Gold place for breakfast !

I picked up a “to go” chorizo breakfast burrito prior to my flight to the east cost. I found it flavorful and full of large chunks of potatoes, egg and juicy chorizo sausage. Filling and yummy. Fast service.
