Delicious big breakfast. Wonderful bacon, hash browns, eggs and toast. Fast friendly service. My new favorite SFO breakfast spot.

part of the 'food court' per se....and a good choice...down home cooking, American style...breakfast...lunch...dinner you name it.....good food friendly service
Located in the Food Court that is at the entrance to Gates 80 - 90 Terminal 3, Boarding Area F at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Lori's Diner is what you might find in a rural or suburban community and would be a 50's or 60's style diner. They don't have that type of memorabilia, but the food is very similar. There are a lot of restaurant choices in this food court, but what we found nice about Lori's Diner was the root beer float, beer battered onion rings, along with the Lori's Signature burger which was a 1/3 lb. burger topped with bacon, balsamic caramelized onions & Swiss Cheese served with sweet potato fries (we did opt for the coleslaw, which we really liked). Everything tasted great, especially the root beer float. The service was efficient and friendly and the prices were a bit higher - though not outrageously so. There are booths and tables to sit at in the food court, though we found a lack of charging outlets for phones in the dining area. I'm sure that this has more to do with airport management, though than the restaurant management. Worth a stop while waiting on that long layover or delay.
In the United Airlines terminal, terminal 3 is the diner on the other side of security by gate 81.
Great food, reasonably priced. Lots of combos and specials.
The only downside is seating. There are not enough tables or chairs around in close proximity. This means you have to keep your luggage with you, then try to juggle it and your food. A solution would be to have more seating and a runner to bring you your food.
