Spent more than a month hear due to family health issues. The very best thing about this hotel was the unbelievable staff. The manager was warm and personable, remembering circumstances of many of the guests. Housekeeping was thourough, caring and accommodating. The kitchen staff was welcoming, kind, and friendly. And I can't even begin to adequately praise the front desk staff. They were caring, helpful, always polite, and always went above and beyond what was asked.
The hotel itself is lovely, with direct access to the bay walk. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet and three evenings of "mixers" each week.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. You almost made me feel like I had found a short term home away from home.

Room tip: 1st floor rooms may be a bit noisier than those on the 3rd floor. There are occasionally barking dogs, as they are allowed in this hotel.

This is my 3rd stay in a residence inn and this hotel is a bit different from other residence inn ive stayed before. Stayed in a two bedroom suite with my family. Room not quite perfect but good and they assigned me in a room in a high floor as requested and gavr me a nice location facing the bay. LOVE IT! Grounds and outside surroundings are well taken care of. Really like the bay view and they have benches around thr hotel.

PROS: American breakfast included, gym in premises, if you love running, jogging route are available around the hotel, pets allowed, parking is free for guest, accessible to freeway, airport shuttle available, pots, pans, utensils in the room so youbdont need to bring any if needed (not sure if only on suites), have diswasher too.

CONS: Didnt see any major issues except for the floor on the breakfast are needs to be maintained clean sinces theres food in there.

Another thing is that breakfast was not quite replenished promptly (maybe we came down too early and the 2 ladies are overwhelmed). Also the lady attendant in the breakfast area was kind of rude when asked for water since the juice/water machine was OOO. I knocked slowly on the employees door and the lady (Dolores i think her name) said loudly "WHAT" so i stated what i need and left. She actually complained that the water/filter has been an issue on the hotel for a while and the water jar in the lobby should be replenished by FD. Was that supposed to be the guest problem, i dont think so but i decided to go to FD and let the gentleman know about the water. Also have to asked again for the extra blankets and pillows even its already on my preferences and even i was told that ita already in my room when i arrive, but it wasnt.

Jocelline at the FD (hope I didnt mispelled it) who was very helpful, polite and accomodative during our stay. Great employee compare to the other gentleman who was working who barely smile ( just noticed).

I still recommend this place to stay when in town. Sure to come back.

Pretty standard Residence Inn, but they advertise a free airport shuttle. What they don't tell you is that it only comes once every 30-45 min. They claim it's 30, but it's not. They also claim the airport regulates it, but as we waited, at least 5 other hotels had multiple shuttles arrive. Then.... it's the 5th stop (25 min). So, it takes 65 min to get to a hotel that is 4 miles from the airport. They would be better off not claiming to have a shuttle.

The heater was very noisy also.

Not impressed, won't return.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you comments and apologize the shuttle did not meet your needs. We will be forwarding them to the transportation company the handles the shuttle service. Normally our shuttles run every 30 minutes and we do share the service with other hotels in the area. During the mid-day lunch period the shuttle does run closer to 45 minutes accommodate lunch breaks. There is a shuttle service timesheet available on our website that gives our guests information as to what to approximate expect shuttle pick up service.

What a lovely place. Great location with a shuttle to the airport. It faces the bay and near a nice walkway by the water taking you to other hotels and nearby businesses. It was very calm and quite so you could hear waves forming.

Pros. Great room. We got an upgrade to the bay view room. We can see water from our bed or the living room couch. Room was nice and basic residence inn with basic amenities and full kitchen.

Reema who checked us in was so kind and helpful. She is bilingual which is great for some customers checking in and didn't speak English. The other staff member was bilingual and equally pleasant.

Cons. Breakfast was below average and felt like a motel quality. Didn't have great choices or healthy selection.

I will definitely return but will eat elsewhere.

The young woman who checked us in was exceptionally charming. The 1 bed suite was clean and comfortable with everything one could possibly need. The breakfast was great given that it was free. The fifth bubble is for the view. I loved being able to look out over the pool and the sea. Many of the rooms do not have a view. I don't think I would have been as happy if I had one of the rooms with a view of a very busy road.

The only minor negative was the shuttle stopping at about 4 hotels before it reached the Marriott.

Thank you Marriott for a lovely restful and comfortable night.
