Instead of going to Chinatown on a recent visit to Daly City, a friend recommended this restaurant. We had crabmeat sweet corn soup, pan fried beef steak, bitter melon with cod, portobello mushroom prawn, eggplant in spicy garlic sauce. Everything was perfectly seasoned, so tasty. We never thought that we could find an excellent Chinese restaurant in the area but we did. The place was clean and didn't have the usual "over the top" Chinese decor. We found a new favorite Chinese restaurant and recommend it to those looking to try more creative Chinese dishes (other than the usual sweet sour, chop suey, chow mein, etc).
