“Very good NY pizza - thin crust”
Reviewed 13 January 2012

If you like thin crust NY pizza, you should try Momma's Brick Oven. It's really good and the sauce is not too much or too little. It's pretty slow though, so don't come too hungry. They make it fresh to order, so there's a 20-minute wait while the pizza is in the oven.

“very good thin crust pizza”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

It's hard to find a good pizza place. We have tried places in San Gabriel, San Marino, and Pasadena and even though the other places might have great pasta dishes ... they was always something lacking in their pizzas. So if you are looking for a good thin crust pizza in the San Gabriel Valley - definitely give Mamma's brick oven a try. It is not cheap but prices seem fairly reasonable. (I used to go to Hard Times in Silver Lake but I live too far to go there now)

It was a Sunday night and we called in for pick up. The wait was about 30 minutes and when we arrived, the place was packed. We normally get the Manhattan but finding the bacon a little greasy, I decided to order the Brick Oven Special. It has pepperoni, italian salami, sausage, mushrooms, olives, fresh mozzarella, and onions. It was very good.

I do not recommend anything other than the pizza. My husband has tried several of their pasta dishes and does not recommend them unless someone is your party hates pizza and must eat noodles.

Can't beat their prices (combos for around $8), and their garlic rolls are addictive.
