“Great B&B experience with yummy breakfast!”
Reviewed 28 January 2012

My husband and I stayed here with my sister and her hubby for one night, and it was a great base for our Sonoma experience. The location was convenient for walking into town, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast was great. The rooms were simple but clean. We really enjoyed the stay.

We rented two rooms 1/14/ thru 1/16/2012 and had a wonderful stay. The Inn was nice and in the process of re-modeling. Food and hospitality was great. We would all stay there again on our next visit to Sonoma.. Darla (one the owners) was super friendly and made excellent dinner recommendations.

We stayed for 2 nights at thanksgiving. The innkeeper, a lovely lady, cooked delicious breakfast (the size of the portions was just perfect for us Europeans), and did a tremendous job of making us feel at home. It's about 3/4 miles from the plaza, and there's a nice bike/walk-route that starts a little north of the inn and goes to the plaza, via general Valeijo's estate.

We were looking for an affordable B&B in Sonoma, after finishing an intense training course for work, and came across this gem. I assume it changed owners recently because we did not experience any of the negative issues other reviewers complaint about. The innkeeper was a character, in a very lovely way, the rooms and baths were newly renovated and very clean, the beds comfortable, the breakfast delicious and no problems at all with reservations. In fact, after booking online I received a personalized email almost immediately, confirming our reservation and room choice. The location is great, too: right off the major wine tasting route, and only about 1 mile to where all the restaurants and shops are. And after a day of wine tasting (or a lovely dinner with a few drinks), a walk like that is just the perfect way to sober up a little bit. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - and the complimentary wine tasting card we received right away was a nice extra touch. Highly recommend this place!

Friends had stayed at the Cinnamon Bear and on their recommendation we booked for a two night stay. We really enjoyed our stay - but it was too short! The room we had was very clean and tidy. A wonder large and extremely comfortable bed!!! The breakfasts were lovely and changed each day. We really loved the 'cowboy christmas breakfast'. You do need a car to get to the square - but if you ask a taxi can be arranged. We look forward to going back and staying longer!
