Very nice staff, good wine. We were last minute visitors on New Year's Eve day. They were getting ready to close and begin inventory, but accommodated us anyway. They gave us tickets for two free tastings at a later date and gave us free reign to try wine that they still had in stock. We were at the end of a busy week/weekend run and they had run out of some wine, but still had plenty of others. The young lady that waited on us was so nice, no pressure, no rush, even though she had a lot of work ahead of her that afternoon and was probably wanting to get out of there and enjoy New Year's Eve. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a great tasting at Sebastiani. The cabernet and zinfandel are great. Tasting fee waived with purchase. The tasting room is nice a large and the personnel are very friendly.

The wines were average but the staff was really friendly, Walking around the building was really cool to walk around. The Symphony white wine was a favorite of my wife since it was sweet but also had some flavor to it. I realize it's one of the biggest names in Sonoma, but there are so many better wineries in Sonoma. On the positive side, it is very close to the plaza, so if you have a nice day, you can walk off lunch or your previous wine-tasting. Nice place, but not my favorite.

“Sebastiani’s” is located just 5mins from the Plaza at Sonoma, and should not be missed if you’re in town. The winery is beautifully maintained, and the large room where tastings are held, has a huge number of fantastically carved barrels to admire. We had an extensive talk about the history of the family winery, and about how the carved barrels came into being, and also saw a small part of the operation, when we were taken outside to see tonnes of grapes being unloaded from lorries, and transferred to the barrelling area. We had about 5 tastings which I think was the most at any winery we visited.
The lady doing the presentation could have used some help though, on 2 counts, pouring the tasters, and a microphone, as we were quite a large group.
The souvenir/wine shop is huge, but the gifts were very expensive here. However, it’s free to browse, which is fun in itself. A great way to spend an hour.
