this park is great for all ages. the trails are nearly flat, good for those that just want to go for a nice walk surrounded by beautiful vistas. some parts of the trail are also handicap accessible, and parking is plentiful.

I have been staying at a home close to this park. I absolutely love it. You can be as leisurely or as hard core about your exercise as you wish. There are plenty of benches around the lake and along the paths. The lake itself is just beautiful. I especially love looking out for wildlife. Quail, turkey, deer, lots of water fowl of course and even a rattlesnake are some of the creatures I have spotted. Because this parks connects to the Annandale State Park on one side, and the Howarth Park on the other, the outdoor possibilities are endless. The main pats are large enough for horses and bakes. I am so impressed with this place-and the locals clearly value this gem of a park.

I go to Spring every day, rain or shine to walk my dogs. The trail around the lake is about 2.5 miles with additional trails if you want. The only knock.....most of the area around the lake is overgrown with blackberry's. Apparently the Parks folks can't or won't do anything about that issue.

Spring Lake is a beautiful Sonoma County park. Walking trails: both paved and dirt/gravel. Great for walking, hiking, etc. Paved path connects to Howarth, gravel & dirt paths connect to Annadel State Park. Spring Lake offers picnic areas, fishing, paddle boats & kayaks. There is a swimming lagoon open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Besides being a great place for picnics we love riding our bikes or walking around the lake. Early mornings and fall days are the best!
