Very small, about 10 rooms. You can tell it used to be an old motel, but has been updated with cute styling and bright colors on the exterior. The room was fine, few ants in the bathroom and a broken shelf. Not in walking distance from the attractions on State Street. Free wifi and ample parking at the Inn. Complementary breakfast consistent of fruit and cookies served on top of the dryer. We stayed over memorial day, So rates were probably much higher than normal. For what we paid (about $200 a night) I would recommend something a little closer to town.

The Inn is well kept. Clean. However the room is so small. Not that much room to put lugguages and the space is very tight for two people to walk around or sit to do anything. For staying overnight to break up the journey is okay. I do not advise people who would like to visit Santa Barbara for vacation or need to stay for few days to stay in this Inn. Although it includes breakfast, there is no room for you to sit down to have breakfast. You need to bring to the tiny room to have your breakfast. It is very uncomfortable to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Also the breakfast is very minimum. That is better to go somewhere else to have a good cup of coffee. For people has rush schedule and need to leave in the morning. That is okay to stay in this inn for the price.

Wonderful renovated motel! We selected this hotel for staying a couple of days in Santa Barbare on our trip along the Californian coastline. We selected it based on its website and some tripadvisor review .... the outcome: great! Colorful rooms equipped with microwave, docking station for iphone, flat tv, small table for having your own meals in the room. Super clean, friendly reception and convenient location. Breakfast is included but very basic. All in all: great!

Really enjoyed my stay at this Inn. Loved the modern, mexican style decor, free wifi, parking and breakfast (coffee, muffins, fruit.) The guest directory book in the room had restaurant recommendations in it which we really appreciated. The only negative was the strong rotten egg odour coming from the shower drain, which eventually seemed to dissipate. So not sure what's in the water there? But I would definitely stay here again and be sure to check out their sister property the Presidio Motel.

An easy walk to downtown but there are also a good range of cafe's & restaurants nearby. Breakfast is small but the owner is honest about this & we also found that Travellers talked easily as they poured their coffees. Rooms are spotless, linen & towels are fresh and the Service is wonderful. This is a great little hotel offering honest value for money.
