Beautifully landscaped, welcoming front desk (with fresh baked cookies during check-in), nice room. Really good value for Santa Barbara, and very convenient to UCSB. The bike paths and running trails start just a few blocks from the hotel, and it's right off the highway (101), so easy access after a long drive. We wlll definitely stay there again!

Dear llc Mycroft,
Thank you so much for your review of our beautiful property, we are always so thankful for all of our guests that make the decision to stay with us. There are a number of choices when it comes to choosing a hotel here in the Santa Barbara Goleta area and we thank you for choosing us. We love to welcome our guests with fresh baked cookies at 3pm every day, having the smell of fresh baked cookies just seems to bring a smile to everyone who walks in to our lobby.

Our central location provides our runners, bikers, and nature hikers with all kinds of opportunities. Plus, if you want to go to the Santa Barbara Beaches, Downtown Shopping, Wine Tasting, or Golf, we are just 8 to 10 minutes away. UCSB and the Santa Barbara Airport is only 5 minutes.

We look forward to your soon return and please make sure to bring along a friend on your next trip.

Dan and David from the front desk were extremely helpful and anxious to help. Another dark haired petite front desk clerk whose name escapes me should also be commended. Breakfast was the usual carb heavy offering but the danish and specialty breads and rolls were superb. Hard boiled eggs sufficed for the protein input. Rooms were clean and bright but I did miss not having a desk lamp for my computer. The courtyard lagoon with ducks, geese and other birds adds a nice touch to the ambiance of the property. I'd definitely stay there again.

Dear Steve K,

Thank you so much for giving us a perfect 5 Star Review and for mentioning our wonderful staff. We are so blessed to have incredible employees who really care about our hotel and the guests that they serve. Sara is the name of the supervisors that you were thinking about, and she is indeed great.

We also appreciate the mention about our rooms and the beautiful freshwater lagoons and lush gardens that are home to our Ducks, Turtles, Koi, and Goldfish. We look forward to you return in the future.

My husband discovered this place on a business trip several years ago , and we now book there whenever we go to SB and Goleta area to visit family and friends, at least four times a year. GREAT value. Very clean. Good location, if you have a car and don't need to be walking distance to the beach or downtown. Get the 2nd floor rooms so you have the high ceilings. Make use of the ample breakfast buffet. Kids and adults will enjoy the little lagoon with ducks, koi fish and frogs. Nice people too!

Room Tip: get a 2nd floor room. But note there is no elevator.

Dear Sheri M,

Thank you so much for letting us know that we are your hotel of choice whenever you come to Santa Barbara. We are always excited when our guests choose to stay with us and then make us their home away from home. It is a fact here in Santa Barbara and Goleta that we are indeed the Best Value Hotel in the area with all that we have to offer our guests.

That is a great tip for people who like vaulted ceilings to select our second floor. Some of our rooms offer great views of the Santa Ynez Mountains or if you are on our Gardenside, great views of our freshwater lagoons and lush gardens. Our guests love watching the Ducks, Turtles, Koi, Goldfish, and our newest friend the Egret.

We look forward to your return and thank you again for your wonderful review of our hotel.

Usually when we visit Santa Barbara we have stayed closer to town. This hotel was a great find. It has a beautiful lagoon with beautiful lilies growing in it. Plus the pool area is realy nice. We were lucky to be there when the ducklings were swimming on and around the lily pads. We got some great pictures. Landscaping was a one. Our room facing the lagoon was perfect, chairs and a table on the patio so you can enjoy a glass of wine with cheese that we brought back from our visit to the wine country. The room was well taken care of. Service at the office was great. Not to forget the complimenty breakest even home made waffles.

Room Tip: I would suggest a room facing the lagoon area. So pretty.

Dear Susan R,

Thank you so much for giving us a perfect 5 Stars on you review. Our 3 Time Ramada Worldwide Award Winning Ramada is really only 8 minutes from the downtown and a lot of guests love to venture out this way to save sometimes hundreds on their hotel expense. Our award winning Freshwater lagoons and lush gardens really are the perfect place to rest, relax, and unwind as you watch our Ducks, Turtles, Koi, goldfish, and new friend the Egret.

We are a Green Hotel that offers a Year-Round Solar Heated Pool and Whirlpool along with new Electric Car Charging Stations. Our staff does a magnificent job and we are so proud to have employees who really care about our property, the rooms, and our guests. A big hit is always the FREE Deluxe Continental Breakfast with all of the fresh pastries, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, and made to order waffles.

We so appreciate the kind words in your review and look forward to your return in the near future.

We had two short stays in early may while visiting with family. It is very convent to ucsb and easy to find. While it is an older property it is well kept updated and clean. The pool area has a real resort feel. It is a great deal for Santa barbra which is a pricey market. It is not downtown but is close driving distance
