The first night we stayed in the Santa Ynez room and it was very private and was much larger than I expected it to be. It is not in the main house, but rather, just around the corner. This posed no problem at all for us. Because the online photos of it looked so nice, I booked the Craftsman room for our second night. It is in the main house, has a fireplace, huge bed, and a deck with a hot tub. It is just as nice as it appears to be in the photos. I think it is the converted dining room from the original floor plan of the house. The breakfast was very good - egg, mushrooms and hollandaise on a ciabatta bun with a huge side of fruit. Easy to find street parking and parking behind the house; free wi-fi; friendly and helpful innkeepers; lovely and quiet neighborhood. Very happy that we found this place.

This was my second visit to this place. Highly recommend it as it provides rest & relaxation while being close to the main shopping & art galleries of Santa Barbara. Management friendly and eager to please. Breakfast is home cook and very tasty

Room Tip: This trip I stayed in the "Wild Rose" which overlooks the front of the house. Lots of nat...

We choose the White Jasmine Inn for it's location and the in-room coffee pot and refrigerator. Our house was being fumigated in Ventura and my husband works in Santa Barbara. So I sought out a B&B that would meet his needs for an early breakfast and coffee around 6 a.m. and a later breakfast time for me. I enjoyed walking to work with my husband each morning, and then returning to the B&B for a wonderful breakfast -- omelet like egg sandwich with fresh fruit. The Inn is just a few blocks from down town State Street where you will find unique shops for clothing, beads, jewelry, and decorating. And a wide variety of restaurants: Chinese, Italian, Indian, California cuisine, French, Japanese, Cajun. Like San Francisco, down town Santa Barbara is not car friendly. So being able to walk to stores and restaurants is convenient and relaxing -- compared to finding and paying for parking.

We enjoyed the Palace Restaurant on a Tuesday night which is their Mardis Gra celebration with accordian music and a group sing a long.

We stayed in the Nouveau Suite which has it's own patio and jacuzzi tub. The patio is screened by fencing and hedges for privacy and relaxation.

Room Tip: We liked the Nouveau Suite. It's part of the main house, but has it's own entrance on the s...

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the White Jasmine Inn. We stayed in the Wild Rose room in the main house, which we thought was very cosy, clean and well-appointed. The inn is well-located just a few streets across from State Street and very easy to find from the highway.

We stayed in Santa Barbara for one night on our way up the coast and the housekeeper was very helpful with ideas for dinner nearby and things we could do in town before leaving the following day. We both enjoyed the warm breakfast in the morning delivered to our bedroom and the found that the housekeeper was more than happy to accommodate any requests that we had while we were there.

We spent a long time planning our trip up the coast and were really happy with our choice of the White Jasmine Inn, which is certainly as good as other inns/B&Bs that we have stayed in.

This hotel is charming and sweet. I liked the personal service. The hot breakfasts were great, and the snacks in the main lounge were also delicious. Bring pajamas though because the rooms are not all that warm as they are heated only by gas heaters, there is no central air in the quaint Victorian houses that make up this B&B.

We thank you for your thoughts and letting the public know that you enjoyed your stay at AWJI. One thing I wish to address for your sake---for any return visits---as well as potential guests reading this is is the heating. Please note the following:
1. The fireplaces (both) in the Victorian Suite are gas and are not meant for overnight use.
2. The heaters provided in the suite are electrical. Further, I don't know if you noticed them or not, but there is one in each room within the suite.
We thank you for your business and appreciate your commitment to enjoying Santa Barbara at AWJI and eagerly await your next visit.
