“Amazing Gaudi-esque house for a dream-come-true getaway. Breathtaking views.”
Reviewed 30 October 2018 for a stay in September 2018

Great middle-of-Santa Barbara location. Walk to restaurants. Good proximity to the beach. 360 degree view from the rooftop, large courtyard, and another second-floor terrace. There's an elevator, too.

“Gaudi Influences Santa Barbara Architect”
Reviewed 16 October 2018 for a stay in October 2018

The Santa Barbara Architect Jeff Shelton did an amazing job using Gaudi's influence to design this one-of-a-kind rental property in the center of downtown. Our family rented it for 4 days and loved every minute of it. We rented the entire home which consist of 3 levels (4 bedrooms) plus a top deck with a beautiful view of the Santa Barbara mountains. Each floor featured a different type of artwork and the use of color was explosive. The beach is a short 10 minute walk and State Street (the main downtown area) is only 4 blocks away. If you want to kick back on the upper deck and read a book for the week or take in sunny Santa Barbara like a local you will find your comfort zone.

“More than a vacation rental - it's an experience”

This is one of the most incredible vacation rentals I've seen in Santa Barbara! I felt like Alice in Wonderland and I didn't want to leave. Located just a couple blocks from downtown restaurants, bars and shopping is ideal for car-free travellers. Architecture buffs, this is heaven! Locally designed by Jeff Shelton, who has several buildings in town, but only a couple are vacation rentals.
Perfect place for a family reunion or small party, the outside space is nice too for a large family dinner or cocktails. There's a full kitchen too!
Soak it all in and take a moment to notice all the hand crafted details, like wall to wall hand painted tiles <3
