Great B&B. Close to town but quiet. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had breakfast on the back patio and it was great. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definately be going back to stay there again. Highly recommend it.

We had a good welcome with a glass of wine and interesting nibbles. The room was clean and cosy, but they must have been expecting long legged guests, as the beds were unusually high. Breakfasts were interesting, and nothing was too much trouble. A very private establishment which is located just outside SLO, but very handy for the town. There is a late market on Thursday.

This property has a lot of character and emphasizes French elements and themes, including a bistro-like setting for breakfast and happy hour. Rooms (and bathrooms) are quite small but well-decorated, including green stucco walls, lavender, various French memorabilia, and a cd player with a few French cds. There are nice towels and toiletries. Breakfast is included - a buffet with cold items as well as cooked entrees that change daily (the brussel sprout and boursin strata was to die for)! There is also a happy hour with hors d'ouevres and several different choices of wine. Even though I arrived after it had ended and there were no more hors d'oeuvres the staff was happy to provide me with wine. A real bonus for some is that they allow animals of all sorts (including dogs, cats, rabbits and anything else you may have!). It has ample on-site parking and is a convenient walk to the main part of downtown and restaurants. My only negative comment is that I felt it was overpriced.

Great little Bed and Breakfast with a charming patio for relaxing. Staff is warm and friendly. Wonderful breakfast, worth the stay alone! Wine and appetizers in the afternoon. Comfortable, clean room for a good night sleep. Close enough to walk into downtown for a bite to eat or poke around. A little piece of paradise..

I have been staying at the Petit Soleil with my mom and sister for our annual get-away for years! It never disappoints! The decor in the rooms are lovely with attention to detail and comfort. The breakfast and evening wine tasting are always plentiful and delicious. I like that they employ Cal Poly students who are friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this charming Bed and Breakfast the next time you are in SLO!
