I've moved away from the area 15 years ago. just came back for a trip. after all these year's, the food is still awesome. and the staff has been awesome and so courteous. they really make you feel welcome and create a nice atmosphere for lunch and dinner.

We went to this restaurant to try the new foods.

We cannot say anything wrong about the restaurant itself: it was friendly and spacy, and the staff was courteous. The food was well cooked. We just didn't like the flavors. Oops.

San Jose isn't known for having a huge Japanese population. But for some reason every time I come here there's always Japanese people eating here. I guess that tells you how good the food is. Place is always clean, and the staff is always nice. The yakimeshi "fried rice" is excellent, and the champon "noodle soup" will warm you up on a cold winter day. Good place to get quick meal.

First time I have eaten Champon and really enjoyed it! It is a big bowl of noodle soup with veggies, meat and seafood. Great comfort food. The second time, I had yakasoba noodles which I also enjoyed. It is a good sign to see a lot of Japanese eating at the restaurant. Wish there were similar restaurants at home. Prices were also reasonable.

There were very few people in the restaurant at 1 pm on a Tuesday. The waitress threw the menus at us upside down. Chashu Ramen came with thick, dry, cold pork slices on top. They tasted as if they had come straight out of the refrigerator. The Saraudon was an unusually distasteful eating experience, a number of ingredients carelessly thrown together. The waitress asked if everything was alright, We told her that we were not enjoying the food. She brought some complimentary warabi mochi and ice cream, which tasted like taro. Not a place to return to!
