We visit Never Too Latte at least twice a month on Saturdays. A nice quaint coffee establishment with great Latte's, Capuchino's, Milk Shakes, breakfasts, lunches, you name it. Friendly people all around. Great place to go.

Ok I am a sucker for small cute cafes. This one I found by mistake. IT is perfect for gals to come and chit chat or a book club or something.

They have a lot of different coffee flavors and beautiful mugs that come served in. Their deserts are mouthwatering. It is impossible to see one and not order it.
I had the crepe with banana, strawberries and nutella! Yumyyyyyyyy.

The place has a lot of character and charm and the staff is really nice.

One would not think that you would find a gem of a place in downtown San Bruno, but Never Too Latte should not be missed if you are in the area. Their Macchiato espressos were authentic, not like Starbucks. They have a wide selection of pastries, bagels and breakfast goodies. Best of all the service is terrific.

Bought the Groupon King's and Queen's Tea Service for two, a "$70 value", but were only seated after waiting 12 minutes after checking in a few minutes before noon with a confirmed reservation (but no one even looked to see we really had a reservation in a book). After being seated in window, told instead we would get two Queen's Teas, a $48 value??? instead of advertised King's and Queen's Tea. Tables very small and tea had to be put on small, shaky, stool near floor. Food was good and could have used more tea refills but it seemed we were just ignored by servers in the tight window spot. Very cramped table/seating layout with trip hazards with small stools holding teapots.

Was here on a Friday late afternoon for the Groupon special King and Queen's Tea. I admire good marketing and this is definitely an example of how main street business can compete with big box retail, e.g., Starbucks. Never Too Latte is located on the charming old 1920-30s San Bruno main street. Allow time to browse (you'll need it if you eat all the treats on the tea tray). It is basically a neighborhood coffee house, but they've set aside a few tables up front for an afternoon British tea, complete with floral napery.

Since were were there after the midday rush, we didn't have the crowd problems that other reviewers mention. The Groupon deal is a savings of $6 from ordering the same thing off the menu. At $39 for two was still a bit pricey, but worth it as a special treat.

First of all, most of the teas are flavored not varietal. We had the Lavender Versailles and the Russian peach which were both very good. And they kept our teapots filled.

The sandwiches are typical tea size on soft bread and quite good. I liked the chicken pesto and my daughter liked the smoked salmon cream cheese. We both thought the creamy egg with bacon was wonderful. The house made coleslaw was also good.

The sweet tray was indulgent with excellent housemade scones. The tiny thumbprint cookies with jam were wonderfully buttery. Ignore the Costco madeleines. There were a lot of other pastries, but can't remember them all. And after all that they offer us macaroons. The lavender and lemon ones were fantastic!

Our server was efficient and charming.

If you're not there for the tea, walk through the main serving area you'll find a nice sitting room with overstuffed floral upholstered sofas. Very nice place to relax with a cup of coffee or tea and a sweet.
