I enjoyed the winery. The wine enthusiast was knowledgeable. The girls at the cash wrap were very friendly and kept an eye on my purchases while I went to the bathroom. Unfortunately they ran out of cheese & cracker platters but the boys in the deli made a fresh one for us. I wish the samples of wine were consistent, as some were less than others. Overall I would recommend this winery to anyone visiting Napa.

This winery has grown over the years and the wines have improved dramatically.
Ed of the employee in the tasting room is great, very knowledgeable and fun makes you feel at home.
He got more sales from us because of his attitude.
The is a deli where you can buy different style of sandwiches also a great cheese counter with decent prices.
The grounds are great for a picnic.
Ample parking space.

The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. Super friendly . The winery is beautiful as well. We loved the gardens and had a relaxing lunch while the Napa wine train went by.

Very popular destination and we joked that we were at the Disney equivalent in Napa. We were originally looking for a guaranteed lunch/snack spot rather than hunting around and so from that perspective it was perfect as we booked a Terrace tasting coupled with the cheese/snack option. Their wines were fine, snacks were good, staff was friendly and the grounds are very nice but we were looking for something a little more intimate. So overall, a little pricey for what you get but it got us through the day which included Stag's Leap, Silver Oak, Opus One.

The entire experience met with the advertisement. We made paid-in-advance reservations (which made for a quick check in process). As a couple in our 50’s, we were grouped with two other similar age, pleasant couples which made for a fun tour. The tour pace was perfect allowing for learning of the winery’s long and interesting history. We enjoyed the wine tasting (our first) and made a purchase of the port. The grounds, staff, and educational experience were wonderful. We agreed we’d do it again!

Beautiful space and garden. We did a Terrace tasting and it was absolutely worth it - away from all the chaos on the other side of the winery. I recommend getting the platter to pair with your wine tasting. Gorgeous and relaxing setting. Lost a star only because every time the woman poured us wine, she would start a prolonged convesation especially with one of my friends. I’m sure she was just trying to be friendly, but I didn’t like that she kept monoplizing our conversation when I was trying to relax with my friends for my birthday. The deli food and gelato were delicious and it has a great picnic area. I’m definitely coming back!

Fantastic and friendly wine tasting experience despite an electric outage in the vineyard on the day of our visit. V. Sattui offers delicious wines (consumer direct), a fantastic deli, cheese and gourmet market for varied accompaniments to your wine tasting as well as a picnic area to enjoy, as well, for after your tasting. The grounds are covered with beautiful roses making it smell like heaven.
Our wine tasting was conducted outside in the gardens by none other than the great grandson of Vittorio Sattui, and nephew of Dario Sattui who brought the vineyard back to life after many decades closed due to prohibition. There's a great history to learn of here and a huge array of wines to sample that are unexpected treasures!
I highly recommend buying the Domaine du Vallage french triple cream cheese with crackers...which pairs exquisitely with V. Sattui Chardonnay, Malbec, & Russian River Valley Zinfandel.
Recommendations for improvement for the vineyard: charge customers upon exit versus entrance, and it would be ideal to have tasting fees applied toward any purchase of 2 bottles or more.

Very interesting, informative and fun winery tour and tasting. First of all, the power went out prior to our tour. So, the staff creatively provided us with a "special" tour which included some behind the scenes views not normally shown to patrons.

We arrived early and enjoyed a very good picnic lunch purchased from their deli.

The tasting was fantastic. Our guide, Angela, was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend V. Sattui winery.

The wine tasting here is great. Our server was so knowledgeable and kind. The fee for tasting was 20.00 for 5 wines and our server gave us 1 extra taste for free. Great wine only available on site. Go and enjoy.
