One of the best meals we’ve ever had. Soup of the day was celery root with a spinach purée drizzle amazing clean flavors with a touch of panache. The anti pasti course was exceptional as well smoked duck breast, superb! Gnocchi with ox tail ragu was also top notch. Dessert excellent. Add in the attentive but not overbearing service and you have a dining experience to be remembered. Thank You Biba!

This is our place when we want to feel like we are back in Italy. The food here is spectacular and none like it in Sacramento. We enjoy the gnocchi in gorgonzola sauce, it’s the best. The menu changes throughout the year and it’s always wonderful. We love this place for our anniversary and the service here makes it special. Thank you Biba!!

My friend and I went for a meal before heading to a show at the Community Theater. we had happy hour in the bar and was allowed to purchase one more happy hour special at the table. That was very nice. My friend had the lasagna which she commented was very different from the traditional heavy layered meals usually associated with lasagna. She said she appreciated the lightness of the dish.
I had the pork chop with cherry salsa. The chop was cooked perfected and the cherries popped in my mouth. I would have eaten more of the cherries but that is not to say there wasn't enough of the condiment on the plate. I did not like the grain on my dish and the server immediately offered to bring something else out in its place. I chose the vegetables which was a good choice. The vegetables were cooked but still crisp and I like that. the other dish I really enjoyed was the beet salad. There was more arugula than beets but the salad was still very good.

Biba offers a lovely, art strewn, sunny main room and a very comfortable lounge.Though parking is no fun, the restaurant itself boasts a space and charm that is fast disappearing from the "out-on-the-town" scene. Along with plenty of white hair, you may see the occasional child there to celebrate with mom, dad and grand[you fill in the blank]. The menu offers solid traditional Bolognese cuisine served in tasty but slim portions. She's not big on vegetables, so a side order causes consternation and costs a considerable amount of loot. Perhaps you don't go to an establishment of this caliber to get full. If so, you'll enjoy ordering several courses, all of which will please your palette. The list of spirits offered is satisfying inside a high altitude. The service is very fine, the environmental setting, warm and unhurried. It's a wonderful place to celebrate a grand occasion. And Biba will come by your table to say hello.

Biba's is a classic Italian elegant restaurant suited well for romantic occasions well as business diners. The ambiance is comfortable but with some formal elegance. The servers are friendly, attentive and helpful. The food choices are plentiful and all are carefully prepared. Biba herself can often be found checking on her "guests." There is always a special gnocchi and ravioli that makes a great first course. Follow with a salad and then some veal, fish beef or fish. The wine list is plentiful and reasonably priced but don't overlook the cocktails. If you still have room the home made desserts will please. You'll be back.
