The Sterling is closer to a B&B than a hotel. It has large rooms, furnished with real furniture (i.e. period wood), and a general Victorian ambiance. Apart from a continental breakfast and working wifi, it doesn't really have amenities - not much of a common space, no gym, no pool, no grounds. It would probably be best for couples looking for a nice old-fashioned place to stay while they take in the local sights. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance.
