Owner description: A Growing Tradition: For nearly a quarter century, our family has been growing some of the finest winegrapes in the heart of the Napa Valley's acclaimed Rutherford region. Home to some of the most famous American vineyards, and some of the most coveted Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, Rutherford is widely recognized as one of the great viticultural regions of the world. Over the years, we have cultivated a nurturing and sustainable relationship with our estate vineyard, which has made our Cabernet Sauvignon prized by numerous esteemed wineries. To make our own highly-rated, handcrafted wines, we have combined two generations of winegrowing experience with the same artisan attention to detail we have learned are essential parts of crafting world-class olive oils and red wine vinegars. Our goal is simple - by remaining true to time-honored traditions we strive to bring you the best the Napa Valley has to offer. We invite you to explore and savor these exceptional, limited-production wines.

“a great Napa Valley experience”
Reviewed 19 December 2011

The Olive Oil tasting was set near rows & rows of olive trees, & in a building with olive press & manuf equipment. Our extended family group really enjoyed this experience, the delicious fresh breads/fruit/veggie spread that came with several types of oive oils (citrus, wine vinegar, ...) We also bought many products from its gift shop: oils, hot sauce, etc. Guide & setting were both excellent.

Tip: if you book the Olive Oil tasting, do not go to the Round Pound Winery building but to its loc across the road.
A few guests at our tasting reservation either got lost/had trouble finding it so they missed they start of the tour.

“Nice”

Fancy, and expensive tasting fees. Feel like you are paying more for the winery than tasting the wines.

“One of the best tours we went to!”
Reviewed 9 November 2011

We went to the olive mill tour to switch things up and take a break from wine. Soooo glad we did, if you are a foodie this is a must! Our guide was good and explained the history of the olive mill and what goes into it. The best part was the tasting. You get official tasting cups and they take you through the whole process. Then you taste thier own red wine vinegars that are so tasty and even the professional way of tasting vinegar which allows you to taste the fruit of the vinegar without the bite. Then they bring out fresh garden vegetable, fruit, spring mix, bread, and cheeses for you to taste with your oil and vinegar. It was really cool experience and is worth the price. I can't say enough about ho much I enjoyed this tour and tasting.
