Description: Relaxed eatery with cozy booths serving old-school pasta & Italian mains with old-country wines. Fine dining with personal service. Rubino's isn't just another cookie cutter restaurant along a suburban boulevard. We are very passionate! Rubinos Ristorante presents a wholesome interpretation of ambitious Italian American cuisine. Looking for classic Spaghetti and Meatballs, Veal Picatta, Chicken Parmesan or Sweetbreads paired with quality attentive service? Rubino's Ristorante is the place! The wine list features many Californian and Italian varietals by the glass and bottle, and Rubinos daily wine specials will intrigue wine lovers. This independent and neighborly ristorante is a proud and active member of the Rocklin community and provides a fantastic family dining experience. In 2009 Rubinos received the Buisness Excellence Award by Rocklin Chamber of Commerce and in 2010 was Voted #1 out of 42 Italian Restaurants in Sacramento by KCRAs A-List.

We had read about Rubinos and wanted to try something different from Sushi and Turkish food. Their menu is quite extensive and the prices are extremely reasonable. I had the Sweetbreads which was so delicious and not often found on a menu. My husband had Scalone which was a steak mixture of Abalone and Scallop. I tasted his and it was very delicious. I think the primary ingredient is Scallop but could still taste the Abalone. Dinners include a salad of choice or soup. The service was excellent, the restaurant is cozy and private and reminded me of the old style Italian restaurant in Chicago or New York. We had a very nice bottle of Pinot Noir from Chile and the desert of Creme Brulee was very good. The only down about the whole meal was that the AC went out so it became quite warm by the time we left the restaurant.

It was our first time there. Everything was perfect! The atmosphere, lighting, noise level and decor was friendly & inviting. We had excellent service. The food was excellent. We had a delicious salad. Our main entrees we're the filet of mignon and veal piccata. They have a very nice wine list. They brought a dessert tray with heavenly choices! We had the cream brûlée and tiramisu cake. We're looking forward to going back!

We dine at Rubino's often and enjoy the small room size and always good food at a price seniors can afford! A nice place for any special event, and to take new visitors to Rocklin.

We made reservations for my Mothers 85th Birthday. We asked if they could do something special for her and they said they would. Well when we got there no sat us. Our family was already at a table. We informed the waiter who we where and he was like ok can I get you all drinks?? When we did finally get a chance to order which took forever. Everyone received there food finally except Me. It took another 20 minutes for mine to come. Everyone else at our table was actually done eating. I was just about to tell the waiter just to cancel my veal and here he comes with. So he upsell us on Dessert and we ask him what they were doing special for my Mom. He brings her a small cup of Spumoni ice cream no Happy Birthday Nothing. Everyone in our party said the food tasted like they had purchased the food a Costco heated it up and sloped some cheese on it. Would not recommend going here.
