Quick check in and good service. Big room with clean bed. The shower is in need of renovation/maintenance. Some of the guests had a dog in the room, and the outside of the room and stairs didnt not look very nice. As one dog where bleeding from its behind... All in all, it seems overpriced, and there are better options... 90 dollars for this room, when you can get an Best Western room, with breakfast for 100... A tip: book room at Hotels.com as you go.

Came to the area for a wedding and there were not many places to stay. This was one of the recommendations to stay and since it had a three star rating thought it would be decent to stay in. Sadly that was not the case. One of the rooms that we had reserved didn't have a pull out coach for our grandson to sleep in and it smelled horrible. They did have another room but it wasn't next door like we had wanted. The recliner chair that was in our room smelled like urine so we were never able to sit in it. The hot water heater wasn't working and you had to turn on the water for at least 5 minutes to get luke warm water. The heater/AC unit was so loud when it kicked on it kept us up most of the night. Sounded like a loud washing machine. Overall we just needed a place to sleep but would have found another place to stay had we known the conditions of this one. Would never recommend to anyone or stay there again.

Good location if you need to be in Rio Vista. Otherwise an adequate room. I've stayed there a few times and the beds are not too comfortable but average for a cheap hotel. The front desk guy was helpful finding a restaurant.

Hard traveling, long hours on the road, found me crossing the Sacramento River, into a little Delta town called Rio Vista, which sits right on the waters edge.
Hard rains, bad condituions ,i decided to stay at the Rio Sands.Charming ,modest and clean.
It also happens to be the only place a traveler can stay in the town, now.

Room Tip: Only downstairs rooms are the best and number 23 is the only suite, which has a full kitchen.

You responded to my complaint about the horrible room. Complaining to your staff about the horrible carpet would not serve any purpose. They didn't have any other rooms and it's not like they could put in new carpet. Maybe you should clean the carpets. Second there was no breakfast. I specially asked and was told there is no breakfast of any sort at all
