We stayed overnight in a room with many features, many of which seemed useless. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was fine. Would be a five star but too much money for excess features.

This is the perfect location if you need to be in this area. There's a outdoor mall within walking distance and it has every retail store and restaurant you could think of. The freeway and other stores are easily accessible as well. You can't go wrong staying at this hotel, it's clean and we found all of the staff to be exceptional courteous. Our room was very quite, it was on the top floor and it faced the pool area.

Last Summer my family and Ihadbeen really pleased with this hotel.Sadly not this year.
We had been promised a 1 p.m.check in but were advised in a somewhat cavalier fashion to return at 4 p.m.The room was fine but housekeeping only took place late afternoon.The laundry room was welleqipped last year but this time two out of the four washing machines werebroken and four out of the six dryers so difficult to organise the cycle.
The hotel as others have stated is populated by many longterm residents and their dogs.In fact the smell of pooch is quite overpowering.
We will not be returning.

We had come to the last stop of a two week trip up the California Coast and stayed in a few hotels and homes along the way, having had some really good experiences. Relatively speaking, this hotel was not the highlight of our stay.

First, it appears to be a long-term stay hotel: guests were coming down to breakfast in their bathrobes, dogs are walked all over the hotel, and it appeared garbage collection was scheduled one of the days we were there as a number of rooms had mounds of the stuff piled up outside their door waiting for pick-up.

Second, the staff was inattentive or just rude with the exception of the bartenders and shuttle service. On more than one occasion, we went to the front desk to have the magnetic key cards reset, because they kept expiring over our three night stay for some reason, but usually had to wait for someone to show up at the desk. The breakfast staff was practically insolent. I always had to ring the bell for the omelette service and when she arrived she stared without saying a word, not asking for my order. Breakfast ended at 9:30 sharp, whether you were in line serving yourself at the buffet or not, they started pulling all the food out from under you! As I said before, the bartenders and shuttle service were the exception - they were very friendly and attentive. Kudos to them!

Our two bedroom suite was large, but showing its age and the layout and design details were just off. Windows were in haphazard locations and the furniture would overlap, sometimes obscuring the view partially, furnishings and bath were inconsistent from room-to-room, window shades were coming undone, bathroom fixtures were not of solid quality. The suite was awkward. Bedding was clean, but not as comfortable as that we experienced in the Hilton Hotels we stayed in on this trip. The room was mostly clean, but the bathtub had some residue from the previous guest and the carpet was quite dirty. We spilled some shampoo on it accidentally by the bathroom sink and proceeded to wipe it up with a white hotel towel, only to notice the towel turned black as a result.

The pool had problems, too. Our teens, who have plenty of experience with many pools from years of competetive swimming, noticed a thick chloramine vapor sitting on the water surface, which is unusual for an outdoor pool with plenty of venitlation! They spent some time in it, but had to leave after about 20 minutes as their lungs were getting irritated. The hot tub had an even stronger odor.

What this place has going for it is location - it is convenient to the many areas around SF that we were visiting. There is also a very good commerical area surrounding it. The price, for a family of five, was very competetive. So, while it has some issues it should address, it was satisfactory for our needs this time out. I would probably look into other options before considering it again, however.

Two King-size bedroom suite was perfect for our family of five. It was also great having the two bathrooms. The accommodations were comfortable and clean with comfortable King-size beds plus a pull-out sofa. Excellent, full buffet breakfast served in the morning with plenty of choices.
The air condition controller was inside the closet of one of the bedrooms and it was very loud and noisy. The air condition vent in the second bedroom, however, did not work at all, so the overall cold air circulation in the suite wasn't as good.
