I have made a video of my room....the mattress was like 3 inches thick, very very hard and the springs came through all around the sides and burn wholes (2) on top of the mattress. Motel 6 took a very great Motel (Ocean Breeze Inn) and turned into a dump. The pool? Hahahahaha...how long is it ago that they "renovated"? I am not exactly sure but all the renovation garbage like stones broken walls and so on is lying around in the pool room. No water just all dirt around there. Nasty!!!! People clean your s..t up!!!!! I didn't take any pictures but I have a video if somebody is interested. Recommendation: Avoid this Hotel

Room Tip: Not number 11-downstairs, corner with the stairs in front of window

Room 22 renovated laminate wood floors, 2 nightstands, 2 beds queen & king, roomy restroom, only 1 roll of toilet paper that's it, parking is VERY tight, close to beach steps away, room smelled stuffy, tv, refrigerator. Good Price for location but not sure I stay again just didn't feel comfortable I rather pay $20 for a better hotel. Also could use a little more updating.

We don't expect much from Motel 6s. A clean bed, maybe coffee & parking. This hotel is undergoing renovation. No heat control or extra blanket. We froze and had to put on socks & extra clothes during the night. No closet or hangers, only a few wall pegs. No coffee (maybe in the office after 8am?) No phone to call the front office, no staff at the desk during the night until 8am. No toilet paper holder in bathroom, pipes under the sink were leaking brown stuff. Basically camping in a room.

For the price you pay, it is value for money. You get a bed, warm shower and a great location, close to everything and seconds from the beach. Service at the front desk was welcoming. They appeared to be making renovations that will only make this motel even better.

This hotel is now a Motel 6. It appears that they are trying to upgrade it somewhat, but a lot is lacking. They have a parking lot, but don't count on being able to park there. It fills up quickly. We ended up parking 2 blocks away on Saturday night. We had a 2 bedroom unit (twice as expensive as a 1 bedroom), but there were no extra features to that double room. They had a small fridge and a microwave stacked on top of each other. There was no table, and no chairs to sit in, so you had to sit on the bed all the time. There was only one tv, so one bedroom did not have one. We had a reservation for 4 people, but they only left one bath towel and one bath mat. No hand towels or washcloths. I went to the office and asked for towels and they sent me 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel and 2 more bath towels. After housekeeping service the next day, we were left with 2 bath towels and no washcloth or hand towels.

This location is great, very close to the pier. The drawback to that is that there are people walking by on the road (and in the parking lot) all the time. The walls are very thin, and there is no AC, so you need to have the windows open all the time.
Consequently, there is a constant high level of noise, day and night.

Unit was spacious, but had very little furniture and space was poorly used. Bathroom also was spacious, but poorly laid out. Shower was adequate, probably replaced recently. Bathroom lighting was poor, and bedroom lighting was even worse. There were 2 nightstands, but no lamps in the whole unit. The only light was the overhead light, which was inadequate for reading.

Room Tip: Second floor might avoid people walking past your room at all hours of the day & night.
