Once again, an almost perfect stay at the Inn. Hopefully the demeanor of the young gal who checked us in will improve with age...We love to soak in the private, natural hot spring tubs. We love the swings (although 1 of the 2 we tried needed some maintenance) and being able to walk to the adorable downtown where the shopping and restaurant choices are numerous (as well as the park, wine tasting, movie theater, etc.). The wine glasses in the room are a nice touch. After all, this is wine country and drinking good wine without a wine glass is anticlimactic! The beds are comfortable and the AC much appreciated as it was too hot to be outside (unless in the pool) during the late afternoon. We especially enjoy the beautiful, peaceful garden setting! So we were disappointed when we were out reading in the morning when the gardeners started up the lawnmowers and leaf blowers (the most obnoxious thing ever invented in my opinion) and pretty much ran us off. This was about 10 AM. Check out time is noon. They were done in a little over an hour. I know the work has to be done to keep the grounds as nice as they are, but why not do it around check out time and when people are off having lunch??? A couple of other guests shared our distaste. I hate to say it, but maybe it's a tactic to get to check out before noon (if so it worked). I hope I can give it a 5 on our next stay! Until then....P.S. I'm giving the value rating a five as we had a mid-week discounted rate. Cleanliness gets a four only because the windows (looking out at the grounds) could have used a cleaning.

Room Tip: Get one of the spa, winery themed rooms that overlook the garden.

I was on a long drive back from northern Montana. I happened across Paso Robles on my way fleeing from I5 and began looking at the hotels along the main strip. Busy little town during the day, lots of people around and about. I walked into the Inn office without a reservation and they were able to get me a room. My room had a fireplace and a large hydro-jet tub. I wish it would have worked but I did enjoy a long hot bath. The bathroom was large with a separate shower area. The rest of the room was spotless and comfortable. The Inn has a Steakhouse and a bar lounge on site. Perfect for killing a couple hours before bed.
Very friendly staff. We'll be back soon for a weekend and we'll stay at the Inn.

Located in walking distance to just about everything. The inn is clean, people are friendly, rates are good and the overall experience was good. Nothing to complain about.
I will be staying here every time I come to Paso.

Very nice and friendly hotel. The grounds are particularly nice to enjoy with swings and gardens. Couldn't ask for a better location in Paso Robles. Many eating options within walking distance. I did not try one of the hot tub rooms, but looked like a great vacation option.

Great rooms (get the ballroom suites if available), great staff ( they will answer any questions about the hotel or the town), great location for walking around the square and for dining. Wine tasting all over the square, with no need to drive. The restaurant on property is great for any guest.
