“Wild About Wild Coyote”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2012

Another great stay at one of our favorite B&B's. Away from town, but with easy access to it, this uniquely pretty, peaceful B&B is just what the shaman ordered to help you unwind. The place has an easygoing feel to it, in no small part because of Sean, the manager's helpful, but laid back demeanor. The rooms are large, decorated Southwestern-style in keeping with the adobe structure and have awesome patios with a great view of the countryside. The breakfast that is delivered to your room daily is large and yummy. There are wineries/tasting rooms all around including Wild Coyote's own. This was our second stay and it was just as good as the first time which was nearly three years ago.

There are just a couple of reasons why WC doesn't get a 5:
- There's no door on the bathroom, just a curtain. Ok, but not great for couples and tricky for families.
- A choice for breakfast would be nice. We wasted so much because we generally eat high protein breakfasts and through yummy, the breakfast is traditional and heavy.
- Daily turn down service would take a little effort from the staff, but greatly add to the experience.
- Eco-friendly bath (and cleaning products for housekeeping) would fit the B&B image better than their current products.

This B&B is a small 4 room B&B at a winery just outside Paso Robles. The owners are Gionni and Kati and are wonderful folks who take good care of their guests. We chose Wild Coyote due to its proximity of about 30 miles from San Antonio Lake where the Wildflower Triathlon is held and also due to its New Mexican architecture. The selection proved to be a good one. The service from all the staff was very good. We didn't get to meet everyone, but Rosy was special.
Kati's breakfasts were delicious and Gionni was full of information on the area and the wine and architecture. The laid back setting and pace were great for getting ready to do my triathlon event and my wife got some great relaxation and sunshine time with lovely views of the orchards all around us.
We enjoyed the wines and people. This is a place we plan to return to and if doing Wildflower again (it is a great race) next year, we will definitely be back at Wild Coyote.

My friend and I were on a road trip and randomly phoned this place to see if they had something for us that night- and boy were we lucky! The property is absolutely beautiful, the rooms furnished really nicely, with great views. It was really peaceful and pampering, and we enjoyed our complimentary bottle of wine in the hot-tub. In the morning the owner brought a gorgeous breakfast to our room. The nicest stay we could have hoped for.

Room Tip: Make sure you phone before 6pm I think, because the B&B reception is in the shop which keeps nor...

This B and B had pretty rooms with a great setting. The rooms share a large rear patio with a firepit and tables. Great place to sit with friends. Rooms were lovely, tho some might have a hard time getting used to the bathrooms with just curtains no door.

Wine was not to my taste and IMO not to Paso standards but others may like it.

Charming SW decor.
