If you rely on Westin being a solid place to stay, then this Westin is fine. The staff was very helpful throughout. I was traveling with a Platinum member and I am Gold, but they matched her room upgrade. The corner rooms are a decent size. The room was typical Westin and perfectly fine. I did have a very nice flat screen tv. Room service was fine and the breakfast was quick and good, but it did seem fairly more expensive than average. The staff were extremely helpful. In the morning I had two boxes to take to city hall, and the staff loaned me a dolly and drove me there. Now, this hotel is perfect for Pasadena. But this is not the hotel to stay if you need to be in downtown LA, Beverly Hills, or Santa Monica. The traffic can be murder and going the 30 miles west to these areas can take more than an hour. It took me over 2 hours to LAX on a Friday afternoon.
