Interesting dramatic decor, furnishing, cups and saucers. Definitely a great place for women to have a leisurely meal. Enjoyed the champagne brunch- french toast and toast were yeast, salmon with poached eggs on a toasted croissant was delicious. Nice wines. Lovely guitar music and good service. We visited on a Sunday so no problem parking on side streets for more than 2 hours- the 1 hour meters (except on Sunday) along E. Green Street were all taken.

First time here for dinner - in the outdoor patio, with excellent entertainment. The restaurant was packed. The entertainment, the Brothers T, was excellent and greatly appreciated by the audience. Our dinner consisted of oysters with martinis, a salad, and sea bass, accompanied by a very smooth French Sauvignon Blanc. Excellent in all categories. This makes a nice evening out memorable because everything was excellent, from the greeting hostess, wait service, and host. We will be back!

I had read about this place for quite a while, but was under the mistaken impression that it was just a venue for special events. It is actually a beautiful restaurant, with excellent food. We sat in the courtyard, and were the only customers for at least the first hour that we were there. We were told the history of the building, which was very interesting. The only issue we had was that the service was incredibly slow and it took a very long time for us to get our food. Since we were the only customers, that was rather surprising. But the wait was worth it. I will definitely be going back and will recommend this place to others - I don't want it to close down!

This small restaurant is the site of Albert Einstein's lab (downstairs). The rooms are beautifully decorated and take one back in time. We had tea and desserts which were elegantly served. This would definitely be a must for someone who loves High Tea!

The decor is lovely, the gal that we dealt with Jenny was just the sweetest thing. She was very pleasant gave us the history and the run down of the place. The china is lovely, the atmosphere is grand. Its very quaint. Nice quiet areas not too busy, just refreshing. Great for a date. Get to know each other, its very intimate. They are known for their teas so if nothing else go for the teas. Some packages are high for what you get $46 per person but the atmosphere and decor and history makes up for it. Some dishes are sizable to share which is nice. Tip is included in the bill when it comes if even for two people so do not be alarmed when you see it on your bill.

Definitely someplace you would take your mom and grandma because of the ornate details and atmosphere. Just refreshing.
