Pie n' Burger looks like an old school diner. On the day of our visit, there wee lots and lots of people waiting to be seated. Fortunately, we managed to arrive right before the lunch rush.

Pie n' Burger has a good sized menu consisting of typical diner fair including breakfast and lunch/dinner items. I ordered a classic burger and added cheese and tomato and a half side of fries. The burger was good. it included fresh, crisp lettuce, cheese, tomato, and their homemade thousand island dressing. I really appreciated that the bun was grilled. Love that! I thought that the fries were perfect -- golden crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.

I ordered a slice of apple pie for dessert. The pie menu features fruit pies, meringue pies, and seasonal fresh fruit pies. My apple pie was very good. The crust was perfect and the apple filling was not too sweet. My sister ordered the banana meringue pie and she really enjoyed it.

The service at Pie n' Burger was fast and friendly. Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. Be aware that there are only a few tables but the counter is very long. Be prepared to sit at the counter if all of the tables are taken.

Everyone said - you HAVE to go here so we did. Breakfast; was really very ordinary. Nothing special except the vintage look of the restaurant which I am assuming is why "we HAD" to go there. Prices were also high for just breakfast.

GREAT food, INCREDIBLE pie. We have been for pie many times and decided to try their breakfast. Huge portions, thin fluffy pancakes, HOMEMADE bread....what more can I say. The counter is the place to sit to truly enjoy this great diner. Of course, you must leave room after every meal here for the pie. Fresh, delicious and huge slices are well worth the wait for a table here.

After seeing the premiere episode of Foodnetwork's show, "Top 5," in which Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian and Sunny Anderson named the top 5 burger eateries in the country, which included Pie n' Burger, we knew we had to go there!

As we expected, the place was full, but the wait wasn't too long, and it was definitely worth it. The burgers, with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and their special sauce, were exceptional—some of the best we'd ever eaten.

From their large selection of pies, we chose the cherry and the fresh peach, both of which were memorable, crafted by a master baker.

The waitresses were friendly, helpful, and timely. On the walls are awards (richly deserved) that the restaurant has received for their food.

If you're in the area, don't miss this place!
