Casa De Paradiso is Americanized Mexican food but done well.

We heard rumors about their burrito and had to try it. It is really, really good and massive. Worth every penny and then some.

And while massive it's not just stuffed with beans, rice and lettuce (although there is some beans and rice for flavor and texture, but more meat than any burrito has the right to have. Huge chunks of moist and delicious, shredded must have meat. Add to that what seems like 1/2 a pound of cheese and their green chilly sauce and there you have it....way more than you can eat in a sitting.

So it turns into dinner, breakfast and lunch the next day with enough to periodically munch on. This monster can easily feed and leave them all satisfied.

Well done!!! Really worth checking out.

PS: Good Happy Hour and locals hangout.

In a town where the local liquor store (been there forever) is the Hooch Hut and the most popular small business are the many small funky bars, you wouldn't think there are many good restaurants.

So the fact that there are several good restaurants came as a surprise to me, when I visited for the first and second time. There's a great breakfast spot and we found this place for Mexican.

Café de Paradiso is very good with some tasty sauces, good chips, very good guacamole, salsa and all the favorites done well. Had the Chicken Enchilada and my fiancé had a great burrito. We both enjoyed them a lot and the service was very good.

Typical Mexican American food. At times a little loud due to the amount of customers. Food was good overall. General in the price area.
