Coupa is immensely popular most every hour it is open. There are two in town and several more on the Stanford campus. The Ramona location is the flagship but there is another on Lytton nearby. Venezulean coffees and chocolate are front and center.

Everything is good from every type of coffee drink to their signature spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate. Breakfast, lunch and dinner items already made and ready to order. Various chocolate desserts including bonbons are mostly in flavors you never had before.

Seating inside and out and there is a second indoor area next door. A perfect place for a morning meet up.

I came here for lunch twice. Huge portions and very tasty. I actually took half of it home. The coffee is great and they also have South American specials like arepas. Very friendly service!

On a recent visit to Palo Alto and area, I stopped here twice for take out treats.

The first time I wanted an iced decaf drink. They offered Vietnamese Coffee, but it is premade high test cold brew, and they don't have the milk for it available to just add to a different coffee.

So I ordered the French press but to be iced which they let me do, but then told me that it wasn't set up to be iced. They did give me a cup of ice though it turned out I needed two.
If you order French press from them be prepared to time it yourself.

Treat to go with the coffee was called citrus crunch, a very tasty chocolate citrus almond and other stuff bite on the pricey side.

Next visit I made the coffee purchase easier by just ordering an iced decaf latte. They serve it full without a lid. You need to move it around the corner of the bar to access the sugars, flavorings, straws and lids.

The sweet crepe "French sweetness" was delightful! Buttter, lemon and powder sugar.
No garnish, no decorations but tasty. $$$.

Yes it's pricey, but it is still enjoyable. The tables were all full at both of my visits.

The coffee here really is excellent, although it can't beat Cafe Venetia on University. Where this place really rocks out though is as a place to settle in and do some work or have a meeting. I loved the buzz and the vibe - more than Venetia - which I found to be less convenient for a business meeting. And Coupa coffee, it's all about facilitating great work and great meetings.

Engrossed in an hour long conversation with an old friend over a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning - very energetic yet calming atmosphere - maybe it was the California effect on an East Coast guy. Cafe had many patrons - the coffee was of good quality - menu had numerous items and choices.
