Stayed here while attending a conference at the convention center. Great access from the airport via cab. A 10 minute walk to the convention center and about 20 minutes to the restaurants downtown. A good place for starting recreational runs to downtown or around the residential area. Rooms are consistent with the Courtyard experience, the staff was very friendly and often went above and beyond. This is a renovated courtyard with a bistro and the service was faster than I have normally experienced here. Overall a good place but expect to do some walking if your business is downtown and you do not get a rental car.

Stayed at the courtyard palm springs during the high season (end of march). Lots of visitors down from Canada, Minn, etc..wherever its cold this time of year. The hotel is approx. 1/2 mile to where all the action of palm springs takes place..downtown. You can walk from the hotel, but be advised its pretty dark on the way back..no street lights! Take the hotel shuttle, it delivers and picks up on the hour to downtown. good deal. On thursday nights, they close off the main street downtown to all traffic, only foot traffic. Thats when all the vendors sell their goods. There is no short supply of restaurants downtown. Both sides of the street for 1/2 mile is line with restaurants. An average plate of pasta at any restaurant is about 16 bucks. Now to the hotel: the bathroom is extremely small, beds are comfortable, t.v. is 38 in flatscreen. Swimming pool and jacuzzi are good. max depth of pool is 5ft. pretty quiet area. seemed safe.
Basically, Ive stayed at nicer cheaper places with much bigger bathrooms, but because it was high season I paid average 210.00 a night. not worth it. Hampton Inns are usually 100.00 dollars and they kick in a free breakfast. Nothing is free here. oh wait..parking is free. wow.

Room Tip: room 365 is at the end of the hallway next to the stairwell. great view of the parking lot if you ha...

As soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted by very kind staff. They have a Starbucks and a full service kitchen, and a great outside pool. I am staying in a suite. Been in plenty of Marriott hotels before and this one is by far the best i've been in. The only one that comes close to comparing is the Scottsdale AZ Marriott.

This was not a great Courtyard. Yes the lobby is updated, but the rooms, which most people are concerned most about at a Limited Service hotel, are not too great.

The bed is really crappy. Very uncomfortable and feels very old. The sheets are scratchy, but not so bad you can't sleep. Pillows also need to be updated. The blanket, however is absolutely AWFUL!

As for the towels, I've experienced better at budget hotels in developing countries. They were beyond horrible and actually were almost painful to use.

The room itself is oh kay and has plenty of room. However they need to update these other aspects of their hotel in order to say they are a Marriott affiliated property.

I also thought Platinum members were offered breakfast @ Courtyard's, however they turned me down. Stay elsewhere until they update this joint.

Handy location. Near the Fresh n Easy market and Palm Springs Fitness. Short walk or free shutttle to downtown. Free airport shuttle. Great service.

The downside:
-The room they gave me was not ready when I walked in the door. Then they put damp sheets on the bed. Quickly fixed but this was a first-damp sheets. They apparently outsource the house keeping.
