Good pastry is not cheap. The chocolate almond croissant ($6) was great; the chocolate tongue ($5.30) was a little dry; the peach custard ($4.60) pastry was dense, as was the orange blossom custard pastry($5). We also bought 2 half baguettes--one bacon, one cheese ($3.40 each). They had no bread available when we walked in at 10 am; while we were there they came fresh out of the oven. They were a little too brown for my taste and a little too hard/crunchy. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Within minutes of our arrival, there was a line. You can get a cup of coffee.
