I will start with the positives. This was a really cool 1.8 mile hike round trip. The trail was easy to navigate and not that difficult. There are a lot of steps but it really wasn't hard, depending on your fitness level. There was a stream which made the hike more enjoyable. The waterfall, which is located about a mile in, was flowing quite well. The pool was beautiful and serene. The sound of the stream was peaceful. My friend walked in the pool and the water was quite cold but refreshing. The waterfall was a nice break after hiking in the heat. The views along the way were quite nice. I really enjoyed this hike and would recommend it and do it again. There is a fee, which I believe is $12.50 per person but it's really a small price to pay. I would not recommend doing this hike in extreme heat being as there is not much shade.
